Durable tourism

The municipality does not forget its agro-pastoral tradition, relying on ecoresponsible and sustainable tourism with the rehabilitation of municipal roads and trails and the opening of new hiking trails.

The abandoned village of Occi

Situated above the village of Lumio, this is a must for walks in Balagne. From the start, the infinite perspective between the sea and the sky drags the visitor out of time. The granitic silhouettes, alternately warm and disturbing according to the mood of the sky, fan the daydream or curiosity. You can visit the fragile ruins of this abandoned village, its threshing floor, or the chapel of the Annunziata where certain services are celebrated.
